It delivers up to 1,030 ch, has a maximum range of 720 km, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. In 13 minutes of charging, it regains up to 321 km of range.

Jaguar unveils the Type 01: a four-door, all-electric grand tourer that will be available for order in early 2027.

A design that defies convention

A long hood, a low profile, and a monolithic presence. The Type 01 is recognizable by its “strikethrough” design, framed by the slimmest LED headlights ever designed by Jaguar. The windows blend seamlessly into the body with no visible trim. The door handles and deployable spoiler remain hidden until needed. At the rear, two full-width light bars and a glassless tailgate give it a sculpted look.

A sophisticated and unexpected interior

A central accent inspired by “Signature Brass” runs the length of the cabin, creating a distinct space for each of the four occupants. The low seating position delivers a true grand touring feel. The body is the stiffest ever designed by Jaguar. Combined with active road noise cancellation, it offers remarkable refinement. The ClearSight display replaces the rearview mirror. The trunk, with a capacity of over 450 liters, features several hidden storage compartments.

Uncompromising performance

The chassis and battery form a single rigid structure. This gives the Type 01 a low center of gravity and a 50/50 weight distribution. The result is a driving experience that is both intense and perfectly balanced. To make it easy to plug in no matter where you park, charging ports are located on both sides of the vehicle.

A Connected and Smart Ecosystem

Navigation, charging, and in-car apps are interconnected and update remotely. The Jaguar app lets you preheat or cool the cabin, lock the vehicle remotely, and access an extensive network of public charging stations. A home charging station, inspired by the Type 01’s design, is available as an option.

The Type 01 provides a preview of the vehicle at the start of production. The final models and equipment configurations are not yet available for sale; they may change before the launch.

Orders are scheduled to open in early 2027.
